We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to activate and retain our customers through lifecycle channels: email, in-product, push, etc. You will be an integral part of building product-led lifecycle for Hotel Engine. You will focus on customer onboarding and beyond. You will partner with Account Managers, Product Marketing, Product, and data teams across the organization to drive growth of bookings and increase share of wallet. You will be responsible for developing strategies and implementing programs to activate, engage and retain our users centered around data-driven and customer-centric practices. 

What you will do:  

  • Develop an understanding of our customer base and build scalable lifecycle programs that drive activation and retention throughout the customer journey 
  • Create a data-driven customer centric lifecycle strategy and program, including customer segmentation, personalization, and customer journey optimization 
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product and Account Management team to optimize the customer onboarding flow to increase customer adoption
  • Create and test hypotheses to improve journeys and campaigns, evaluate results, and evolve best practices to reflect insights
  • Lay the foundation for product-led lifecycle by leaning into customer activity and engagement on the Hotel Engine platform
  • Responsible for end-to-end campaign management from strategy all the way down to deployment and reporting
  • Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns, product launches and events, by representing lifecycle channels as critical part of the campaign
  • Create and develop the customer lifecycle experimentation roadmap. Continuously test, learn, and improve our lifecycle strategy, identifying the most effective content and messages for different audiences and channels, including email, in-app, and push 

 What we are looking for:  

  • 5-7+ years’ experience in a lifecycle role in a high-growth company launching and optimizing scalable, personalized, and cross channel lifecycle programs across email, in-product, in-app, push and SMS 
  • 3+ years’ experience with customer engagement platforms like Braze, Iterable and Blueshift  
  • Min of 2 years in marketplace, ecommerce and or travel businesses 
  • Familiarity with retention/engagement strategies leveraging personalization and segmentation
  • Ability to drive creative strategy and execution across channels and journeys across the key segments of our customer base
  • Analytical with a data-driven mindset and can make data-informed decisions and recommendations
  • Worked with recommendation, propensity, and other models to deliver more targeted and personalized experiences through lifecycle channels 
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working with cross functional teams including technical and non-technical teams
  • Highly organized with project management skills, able to simultaneously manage multiple projects, teams, and timelines
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and will dive into problems headfirst and has worked in a startup environment  
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
  • Bonus points for writing skills in short form (e.g., email copy, headlines, notifications) 

Cash compensation:

  • The base salary for this role is $115k-$145K annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
