We are seeking a Director of Growth to build and operationalize our acquisition marketing strategy, design a growth marketing tech stack, and build a lean, but high performing team. This role will report to our VP of Marketing. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing data-driven growth marketing strategies as well as mature existing approaches to scale the business. What’s more, you will be tasked with leading and reporting on growth-based OKRs to Pair Eyewear’s leadership team. Your partners will be our growth, lifecycle, and brand marketing teams, as well as finance and analytics.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and own growth marketing OKRs, as well as report on key metric updates to the Pair Eyewear leadership team
  • Strategize and lead implementation on growth marketing strategies on new and existing channels including, but not limited to: social, search, streaming and linear tv, out of home
  • Lead our in-house team and agency partners to craft a cohesive 360 degree messaging strategy across marketing channels
  • Partner with our Director of CRM & Lifecycle Marketing and analytics teams to amplify profitable marketing channels based on LTV:CAC
  • Collaborate with our finance team to create comprehensive channel budgets and forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Analyze current marketing tech stack and make actionable recommendations for new platforms and saas partners

Who You Are:

  • An experienced team leader who loves to build from scratch with a track record of helping teams excel
  • You are a data-driven leader who can analyze multiple streams of information  and develop a cohesive strategy for leadership 
  • You are able to communicate across various functions and support your peers to deliver on business priorities 
  • You thrive in an ambiguous working environment, are flexible to changing priorities and can disagree without being abrasive or intimidating  
  • You have scaled marketing spend in the tens of millions of dollars, with particular emphasis on TV and non-digital channels
  • You are eager to learn and excited by a high-volume work environment

Need to Have:

  • You have at least 7+ years of professional experience in growth marketing
  • You have previously structured, hired and managed a well organized growth marketing team
  • You have a deep understanding of most marketing channels, including but not limited to: social, search, influencer marketing, streaming and linear tv, and out of home.
  • Proficiency Excel and Google Sheets including data manipulation/organization, as well as familiarity with business intelligence tools
  • You have experience managing budgets, and collaborating with finance to create forecasts

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of employee interviewing and hiring practices 
  • Experience with eCommerce Start-ups and D2C consumer companies in  some of the following industries: fashion, healthcare, consumer, fintech

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $155,000 - $185,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
